I have to convert FLT Files to WAV

Postby roxthebest87 » Fri Oct 24, 2008 7:30 am

Hi, I have a big problem! I recorded a session with my band with the 8 channel multitrack of my Fusion 6HD but I forgot to save the project so now I have only 8 flt files but I can't listen or edit any of these files. Someone can help me please??

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm Italian :) :( :D [/b]

no time to test right now, but you could try creating a new song, add audio track(s), and from there, with the utility menu, import your data in the track(s).

é si non é vero...

The Fusion can only import WAV audio tracks, not flt. I have already tried. I don't know how to do this

Copy your files on your PC and if you have Wavelab or something comparable, you should be able to open those files directly (and save them as WAV afterwards). Choose "open wave" > "any type" > 32 bit float, Little endian, mono, 44.1 KHz.
It works.

edit: Audacity (freeware) can do this too. Create a track, then use "Import RAW data", with the same parameters as above. Done :D

it's here:

Well, this is a working way, yes. But don't you all know that the fusion can export tracks as wav without additional software?

HowTo:

- In Song mode switch to the Utility tab.
- Choose Track Util.
- Choose Exp Trk or Exp Trks
- Now you can save one or more tracks to the internal HDD. The Fusion will automatically store them as .wav files.
