Trying to hook up my EXTERNAL SEQUENCER(Newbie to this) Can

i went off & bought me a Yamaha QY-70 Sequencer that i wanna use for my Fusion. I also went & bought me an AKAI Mpd for the pads because the qy-70 doesnt have any. My question is would i still be able to use the qy-70 as a sequencer and still be able to hook up theAKAI mpd to the QY70 so i can trigger the fusions sounds. This is my first time trying to route these things so im a little confused.

anyone ever used a qy-70 with the fusion?

To anwer this question it would be necessary to know more about the QY-70. Not that I want to chase you away but you will most probably get a quicker answer in the Yamaha forums.
